Darren Kuz

With over 30 years of experience, he is a strategic and collaborative professional skilled in navigating complex political, organizational, and stakeholder environments.

Darren is recognized for providing high-level executive advice. He has the proven ability to build trusted relationships across local, provincial and federal orders of government as well as with the private sector and non-profit organizations.

 

Previous positions include parliamentary assistant (Member of Parliament), chief of staff (Mayor & Council) and executive director (economic non-profit). Skilled in advocacy, governance, public policy, and communications, Darren has experience leading cross-functional initiatives that align public interests with organizational priorities.

​

For over 20 years, Darren was involved with the Hockey Alberta officiating program. He was an on-ice official and instructor. Additionally, he held various committee positions, which focused primarily on governance and policy.

​

Darren was born and raised in Red Deer. He has a political science degree from the University of Victoria and a Mount Royal University certificate in project management.
